Sorry for the lack of posts – but fishing is great on the Salmon – so not much time to post. One of the joys of guiding is all the really cool people you meet! However, this week, I had the chance to take some very good friends from those days of being “twenty” fishing! – Friends I haven’t seen in years. it was a treat that I will cherish. Joyce and Bob, a relationship developed in those first post college days, happened to be in Stanley Idaho. And as luck would have it – I got a chance to share with them my passion for fly fishing with a drift boat float down the Salmon River. Not only did we get a chance to talk fishng – but we looked at the different perspectives of life at 20 versus the perspective at 50! Joyce was a natural at fly fishing – however, if she buys a fly rod she needs to learn how to touch the fish! Thanks to Bob and Joyce for a splendid day on the water.
