Dave and I explored the Salmon River above Stanley Idaho, yesterday. As a fly fisher, you know, that the passion is always there and when you hook into a big one – the excited kid always comes out! So enjoy my enthusiasm of hooking into a large fish. And yes – you can chuckle at “our not to professional” netting of the fish. We had a great day! I was using a Sage Switch Rod with a Skagit head and T-11 12 foot sinking tip and a JJ’s Special.
